If there is a shortage for the swap space, you can add following these steps.

  • Change to root user
    • su -
  • Create a folder
    • #mkdir /files
  • Create the swap file
    • #mkfile <necessary_size>m /files/swapfile
      • ex: #mkfile 13000m /files/swapfile
  • Add these swapfile to the virtual space
    • #swap -l /files/swapfile
  • Check if correctly set
    • #swap -l
